New museum building in Hagen is a work of art in terms of energy

EnergyIndustry.NRW - In Hagen, as a result of the house-in-house principle among other things, a challenge has been mastered. A white concrete cube, accommodating the exhibition rooms, is enclosed in a glass shell which isolates the cube from climatic influences.

First school to passive house standard in the state capital

EnergyIndustry.NRW - The newly built Lore Lorentz School in Düsseldorf was constructed to passive house standard. In other words, the building has a particularly low heating energy requirement of only approx. 15 kWh/m²a. This is thanks to a particularly well thermally insulated shell and a mechanical ventilation system which, by means of a heat exchanger, transfers heat energy from the exhaust air to the outside air drawn in.
